Dr Shadi Jaradat

Dr. Shadi Jaradat is an academic and researcher with expertise in artificial intelligence, big data, and intelligent transport systems. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data from Queensland University of Technology, a Master of Computer Science from the University of Queensland, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering. At AIIHE, Dr. Jaradat serves as Lecturer and Course Coordinator for the Bachelor of Business Information Systems program. In this role, he contributes to curriculum design and continuous improvement, supports academic quality assurance processes, and delivers research-informed teaching in areas such as AI, data analytics, information systems, and cybersecurity. He brings more than 15 years of combined experience in academia, industry, and the public sector, which underpins his academic practice and research.
Dr. Jaradat maintains an active global research profile, with publications in high-impact journals and international conferences including the IEEE Open Journal of the Computer Society, Smart Cities, Algorithms, AI, and Electronics. His research spans AI, multimodal large language models, and data-driven infrastructure safety, with numerous collaborative works with international scholars. He also serves as a peer reviewer and guest editor for international journals, contributing to the advancement of AI and data science research.
