This subject looks at cloud computing technologies such as infrastructure as a service (Iaas), software as a service (Saas) and platform as a service (Paas). It examines the issues organisations face in whether or not to move information and technology infrastructure to the cloud, and, if so, to what provider, and what services. It explores the cloud models are available and their security risks.

In this subject there will be in–class activities intended to support you to engage in and reflect on your learning journey and understanding of the subject. You will also undertake assessment tasks related to your skills development, your effective engagement in group work and delivery of collaborative outcomes, including a written report and an oral presentation.
